Good morning everyone! It’s Wednesday…and you know what that means…Wedding Wednesday is here to save you from your boring work week! Wednesday is no longer the day where you wake up and say… “Is it Friday yet…?” Now you can wake up and say, “Woo hoo! It’s Wedding Wednesday on SCM!” I promise to bring you beautiful wedding photography, amazing wedding vendors and dazzling inspiration for your special day. I may be married already, but I haven’t lost my love (and lust) for elegant weddings. Today, I’m featuring Sweet Woodruff, a floral boutique located in Toronto, ON.
I came across this website a while back and I was immediately enamoured with the signature vintage inspired designs. I just love fresh flowers… so I started frequenting the site to see their latest bouquets and arrangements for a quick infusion of inspiration! Creative director and owner, Lisa Collins started the floral design studio back in 2010 and opened up a store front two years later. They quickly outgrew the storefront last year and they are now using a studio space at 442-N Dufferin Street as their home base. With a background in interior design and urban planning, Lisa brings fresh eyes and innovation to an industry that is usually dominated by tired and traditional florists. I love how she mixes and matches different varieties of flowers with natural elements like branches and berries to complete her unique ascetic. Lisa is also an amazing entrepreneur, she has seen her business go from concept…to creation…to success in just a few years. She is now a sought after wedding florist with oodles of fans and admirers. 44,000 on Instagram and counting….. I am completely in awe of this girl and I know you will be too!
Have yourself a wonderful Wednesday!
