Le Train Blue 11

I just love looking up gorgeous Parisian restaurants. There’s something majestic about the way the French live. They have a deep appreciation for luxury and beauty! Le Train Bleu restaurant, located in the Gare De Lyon train station, is an example of rich history, beautiful surroundings and exceptional cuisine coming together to form a magical dining experience. Since 1901, the restaurant has been serving an extensive selection of food and wine to Parisians waiting to catch the trains.  The restaurant was designed by architect Marius Toudoire, who also designed the famous Gare De Lyon clock tower in the early 1900’s.…

One of our stops will be Switzerland. We would love to do some hiking in the picturesque Swiss Alps. I can just imagine standing at the top of a huge mountain and taking in the beautiful landscape. Travel gives us the ability to reflect on our own lives. I don’t think it’s silly to think that you can actually find yourself while travelling. Sometimes being outside of your…

new (1 of 1)

The last time I was in New York, I stumbled upon a little piece of heaven called Bisous Ciao MACARONS. This unique delicatessen is located at 235 Bleeker St in the West Village. When I walked in, I immediately fell in love with the way the space was designed and how the deserts were artfully displayed. The shop is adorned with gold-rimmed bistro tables, marble counter tops and unexpected industrial inspired seating. The playful pink accents really added to the chic atmosphere of the space. The colourful Macaroons were lined up and beautifully arranged for patrons to view and…
