DAY 4 – Jan 11, 2016: It’s Monday morning and we are up and out of the hotel room before dawn. “There ain’t no rest for the wicked” seems to be our mantra for this Mexico trip. We are photographing every morning sun rise and ready with cameras in hand for every sunset. I know what you must be thinking…why in the world would you not sleep in on vacation? Are you nuts? Well, I’ll tell you a little secret…shhh…don’t tell anyone but…this is what we live for! For the past year we have been living and breathing photography and…

Travel Diary Manzanillo Mexico

DAY 1 – Jan, 8, 2016:  It’s 8:00am and I immediately spring out of bed and start packing. I always do this to myself…I’m kind of known for leaving things to the last minute, loosing track of time and arriving late…I mean fashionably late…for social engagements. I guess when it comes to travel, it’s the same old story. You would think that I would know better by now right? Wrong! So I manage to collect everything that I need for the week and cram it into my London Fog suitcase with 30 mins to spare. We already dropped off our…

   Greetings! This will be my final post from Manzanillo, Mexico! Yes, we will be making the journey home today. We’ve had the time of our lives on this trip and we’re happy to come home with beautiful photos and oodles of inspiration. I can’t wait to show you what we cooked up while we were here… We photographed everything from fruity drinks to fabulous sunsets! I had hoped we would be able to post things as we went along, but I overestimated the WiFi capacity here. Sadly uploading our large formats files were too much for the internet connection to handle.…

@rabskhalid

@rabskhalid    Welcome to the latest roundup of Instagoodness… This week’s images were inspired by my trip to Mexico. I can’t believe we leave on Friday. This trip really snuck up on me! I still need to buy a great pair of sandals (my fav pair broke at the end of the summer) and pack a few beachy outfits. I was wondering what I should wear to the air port seeing as how I’ll be experiencing two extreme temperatures in a matter of hours…then it hit me…layers! The images below are snaps that will serve as my muse… inspiration…mood board if you will…for some small photoshoots in…

Manzanillo Mexico- Style by Clark Martin

   I’m thrilled to share that Tim and I have booked a last minute vacation to Mexico! We leave on Friday for 7 days in the sun. I’m excited to learn more about the culture, taste the food and enjoy myself. Today’s photos are from the hotel that we booked in Manzanillo. I usually prefer to visit cities… New York…Paris… but I’m freezing right now! The winters in Canada can be very cold. Take today for instance, it was -14 C (6 F) when I checked the thermometer in my car this morning. I’m wearing a large sweater, warm socks…

Venice Hotel Al Ponte Antico 8

Today I woke up thinking about Italy!  As I mentioned in a few posts, I booked my airline ticket to Europe for June. Tim and I will be backpacking through 6 European countries for 23 days. One of our stops will be Venice, Italy. I’ve been doing some research on the best hotels in Italy and I came across this little gem, Hotel Al Ponte Antico. This small boutique hotel is located directly on the famous Grand Canal and it’s also directly adjacent to the Rialto Bridge. Hotel Al Ponte Antico is a former palace which was built in the…
