Greetings from Paradise…or Manzanillo, Mexico…which ever you prefer! We’re having a wonderful time chasing sunsets, sipping Pina Coladas and snorkeling in the cove. We woke up this morning at 6:00 am and headed out to the coast to photograph the sunrise over the water. Let me just tell you, it was spectacular! We cant’ wait to get home and edit the images so that we can show you how beautiful this place really is, but for now…here are a few things that I’m thankful for!     Hello and welcome back! The weekend was filled with snowflakes, hot chocolate, plush blankets and a little CHANEL. On Friday night, we were graced with beautiful little snowflakes. While doing our holiday shopping, we came back to a light dusting of snow on the car. It was a winter wonderland! I was hoping that it would stay for the Holiday season, but alas…it melted the next day. When the temperature drops, I love to stay warm. That means soft sweaters, plush blankets and hot chocolate! We ended up watching “The Santa Clause” with hot chocolate in hand to get…

Hello and welcome! This weekend was filled with lovely holiday activities and a little romance. First, I visited my bestie for a recap of her three week yoga retreat in Bali. Her stories were wonderfully humble and inspiring. Bali is now officially on my travel bucket list! By the way, have you seen Eat. Pray. Love? One of the top 5 movies of all time in my eyes!  Anyways, we ended up making holiday ginger bread cookies, sipping hot chocolate and having a lovely conversation about life. Saturday, Tim surprised me with the beautiful white hydrangeas that you see in the…

This past weekend was a lot of fun. We kept ourselves busy by seeing a movie, antique shopping and visiting with family. On Friday night we decided to see the new Seth Rogan movie “The Night Before.” If you’re a fan of outlandish movies that make you laugh until it hurts, this one is for you! The characters in the movie are three friends who have spent every Christmas Eve together since Ethan’s (Joseph Gordon Levitt) parents passed away. As the characters are getting older, they decide that they have to break the tradition and plan one final night out. The…

Weekend Notes

Well this weekend came and went. I spent time with friends and family, did some writing, started planning our road trip and dreamed about Paris. On Saturday, Tim and I were pleasantly surprised when goods friends of ours invited us out for an impromptu dinner date. Naturally, we obliged. It was great catching up and talking about life. The restaurant and the company was lovely. Sunday we spent the morning on Google Maps checking out highway routes for our road trip. It’s always been a dream of mine to do a road trip across Canada, dip down into the U.S. and return…
